Guitar has been in Frank Cosentino’s life since the age of five. Everything changed after seeing Jimi Hendrix live at his infamous 1968 Toronto show! For Cosentino it was the sound coming from this larger than life guitarist’s hands that some would say was a religious awakening musically for Frank.

Fast forward 45 years and Cosentino has established himself as one of Canada’s finest Blues guitarist/singer/songwriters. The multi-award winning guitarist has released 6 CD’S with four dedicated to the Art of the Blues. Cosentino’s touring has become the stuff of legend with over 30 years and tens of thousands of dates to his credit! Sometimes gigging 200 to 250 dates a year, Cosentino has played with and or shared stages with some of the world's greatest musicians in blues and beyond: legends like Sue Foley, James Cotton, Johnny Winter, Jeff Healey, Robben Ford, Duke Robillard, Downchild, Fathead, Vito Rezza and Earl Johnson as well as some of the new blood like Phillip Sayce, Anthony Gomes and Shrimp Daddy.

Along the way Cosentinio has been honoured with endorsement deals from some of the world's most respected music companies such as: Seymour Duncan Pickups, Dean Markley Strings (CEO Dean Markley calls Cosentino one of Canada's finest blues guitarists), ZS Thomas Guitars (who honoured Frank with his own Signature Series Guitar: ”The Cosentinocaster”), Lava Cables, Amp Clamp, Big Bends Nut Sauce, String Stretcha, Rocky Mountain Slide Company, V.L.Effects Custom Shop, Platone Amps, Carparelli Guitars and Mack Amps.

It is said that it takes 10,000 hours to make a virtuoso. Frank Cosentino has surpassed that number 5 times having played over 50,000 hours. Next to keeping an incredible recording and gigging calendar, Cosentino has made it his life mission to educate and keep the art of Blues guitar growing and moving forward! He has clocked over 200,000 lessons given and has become a teacher to the stars! Most recently, Frank has provided lessons to SONY recording artist, Die Mannequin's Care Failure and Universal recording artist My Darkest Days' guitarist Sal Costa. Many more have studied Cosentino's guitar perspective. Frank has also taken part in teaching clinics at some of the world's most respected music schools like Vancouver’s UBC and Toronto's Humber College, The National Guitar Workshop and Guitar Workshop Plus.

With all this history Cosentino's first love is still touring and gigging; bringing the music to the people! With his music receiving rotation on International and North American Radio it's going Global!! With interviews in major music magazines, radio and television Frank Cosentino is no longer Canada's secret!!!!
